What are some popular race (car) events?

I want to watch some races on youtube (real race events, not amateur street races) which have nice cars (i.e. Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche etc.)

The only race event I can think of is Clipsal 500, which is in Australia.

Are the any well known race events in America or anything like that? What are they called?

Thanks,

Alex.

in NASCAR sprint cup racing there is Daytona, bristol, talledega just to name a few
Reply:There are plenty of well-known races here in the States. They include: The Daytona 500; The Indianpolis 500; the 12 Hours of Sebring; Petit Le Mans, the Grand Prix of Long Beach. Those are our seminal races here in the USA.
Reply:i believe you are looking for GT series races
Reply:The Chili Bowl in Tulsa, Oklahoma is the biggest event for sprint cars. And the O'reilly Indoor Karting Nationals in Tunica, Mississippi, is the biggest even for karts.
Reply:Super GT has some wicked professional imports racing around california i think

the ALMS, is good to.. this season or the next BMW is going to enter a M3 to go aganist Porsche and Ferrari

but the ultimate race car event without a doubt is Goodwood in england, they bring out EVERYTHING, just everything from classic racers right up to Formula 1 cars
Reply:SCCA runoffs. Its the Super Bowl of Amateur racing
Reply:le mans racing, the 24 hours of Le mans, or the 24 heurs du mans, but also look up bubble gum rally and see where that takes you
Reply:Nhra US nationals.
