Current events showing constitution's role in everyday life ?
The US constitution has a separation of powers, the Executive (President), Legislative (Congress) and Judicial. The current event showcasing the constitution is that the president has asked for funding to continue the war in Iraq and it's up to congress to either approve it or not. Another example is Congress has warned Bush that he does not have the authority to go to war with Iran.
