Horsey events?

It's my Mums birthday soon and she loves horses and used to ride loads so I was wondering if there are any events we could go to as a family. Not to expensive please


any suggestions?

-Go to the local stables and ask if you could help with the kids and their horses(like to lead them around the pasture)


-ask a neighbor who has horses if you could borrow theres for a night out!

Reply:You haven't said where you live. Here in the UK there are quite a few Point-to-Points taking place on Easter Monday, tomorrow, and over the next few weeks. There are not many horse shows taking place until later in April, but the Grand National takes place at Aintree on April 5th.

Reply:You could go to a local stable that might offer trail rides to the public. Then all of you could ride! They aren't too expensive either in my opinion. You could also sign her up for a month's worth of lessons or something. I would really enjoy that if I ever stopped riding for some reason or another.
