For a history project i need to research some Canadian events that happened in the 80s!!!!!!!!! what are some things i can talk about please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Canada Act was the biggest. There were a couple of plane crashes. In 1980 itself there was "the Canadian Caper" to help 6 Americans who had (barely) escaped from the American embassy in Tehran to the Canadian embassy to get out of Iran safely. They were given Canadian passports and kept at the private residence of the ambassador for several months. The cover story was that Canada was going to be filming in Iran and these people were the supposed "site scouts". It was even published in Billboard to keep the roose up. I hear this is George Clooney's next movie project, so it might also be timely for you to do it.
Reply:80's Hmmmm.... thats silly. You honestly dont know what major thing happened then? Gosh, I was born in the 90's and I know what happened. No Im just kidding I have no idea. Sad, huh? Ive been Canadian all my life, and I dont know anything about Canada.
