Halloween events?

i live in springfield missouri andhave 3 kids under the age of 8 and was wondering if anybody knows any halloween events to do? things such as places giving out candy or any activities...other than the ones at the colleges and the zoo

Halloween events?
Hey, fellow Springfieldian! I live in the one in Massachusetts, though. But there were a lot of Halloween events, for children or otherwise, listed in this weeks papers. Try to pick up one or two. I'm thinking perhaps the local chamber of commerce might know a thing or two about it, or be able to better direct you. Good luck!

Reply:You could have your own party. Carve Jack 'o lanterns and such. My mom used to be room mother when I was in elementary school and we did some cool stuff. We had to put our hand in this box even though we didn't know what was in it. It was spaghetti and felt really gross. We had all kinds of games and we all dressed up. We played musical chairs with a halloween cd, and it was really fun.
