Why is current events having loads on non current event posts going on it?

I look and most of the Qs are not to do with current events at all.

Why is current events having loads on non current event posts going on it?
Just look at some of the other areas of Y/A answers, The problem is the children this is there playground!! The political section is really a joke. This forum will go the way chat did.
Reply:All the catergories are the same. Some things are current events to some people but might not be to others.

Reply:Its bordering a chatroom at times. But I dont mind that to be honest. There's a nice mix of questions and chat.
