first - notes: Save a document in any word-processing application as a text (.txt) file.

In the Macintosh Finder or in Windows Explorer, drag the file in the Notes folder on iPod.

In TextEdit: From the Format menu, choose Make Plain Text and then save the document.

In WordPad: On the File menu, click Save As. Then from the Save as type menu, click Text Document and then save the document.

To view notes on iPod:

Select Extras %26gt; Notes

The Notes feature is available on iPods that have a dock connector. This includes iPod mini, iPod (with Dock Connector), and iPod (Click Wheel) models.

second - calendar: you have to plug in your ipod and use the outlook files to get it there. heres the step by step guise from apple. Open iTunes.

Connect your iPod and wait for it to appear in the iTunes Source pane.

In the Source pane under Devices select your iPod. This displays the iPods Preferences.

Click the Contacts tab.

Click the Contacts tab under the iPod tab.

Select the "Synchronize contacts from" checkbox.

From the menu, choose the program (Outlook, Outlook Express. or Microsoft Address Book that contains the contacts you want to sync with your iPod.

Click Apply.

Outlook Express users, you're done. Outlook users, continue with this next section of steps to allow iTunes to access your Outlook data.

A dialog appears, telling you that a program is trying to access data from Outlook.

Select the "Allow access for" checkbox.

Choose a time limit from the menu

Click Yes to close the dialog.

third - generation - http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?... [the website will explain everything]
Reply:If you click on "Notes" in your iPod, you'll see detailed instructions on on 'how to' right on your iPod screen. If you click on "Calendar" (by the way calendar is not spelled calender) you will see detailed instructions on your iPod screen, and so on, and so on. Folks you could've saved yourselves a lof of typing! Good luck :-)
Reply:To view notes on your ipod first enable it for disk use then drag text files to the notes folder on your ipod. See the ipod features guide or go to apple.com/support/ipod for more information. You do the same for calendar events except drag them to the Calendar folder. To find out what generation of ipod you have On your ipod go to settings and then click on about and scroll through that and when you get to version thats what generation of ipod you have
Reply:You have to add everything through your computer. There is a program that it takes from and gets that info from. As for generation, check this site...http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?...

Hope it helps!!!
