Should Olympic events be sexually integrated?

Should they get rid of separate events for men and women? After all, it's kind of sexist isn't it?





I mean, they don't have separate running events for blacks and whites, even though it's clear that blacks can run faster than whites.

Most people are not answering this question because it is so ridiculously absurd!! It has nothing to do with being sexist. It has to do with being a realist!!
Reply:If women want to be treated equally then they should be treated equally on the track or playing field as well, however we all know how that would go...





You should feel good about yourself mztana820, it is parents like you and fights like that which lead to boys sports being cut so girls can have theres too. Sadly it happens all over the place because schools, mostly colleges, cant afford to keep all their guys sports and add womens too. Personally, I cant understand the logic in adding sports like fencing and equestrian for women just to comply with Title IX. The state of lesser college sports like swimming, track, and wrestling isnt good in my opinion, all so we can get more girls to participate in sports and throw many scholarships at athletes who are less competitive than the men they are replacing. Im glad girls can play but not at the cost of mens sports, is completely not worth it.

Reply:There are some events that are not separated by sex. The shooting is not separated. It is obvious that as a general rule women can not compete with men in events that require strength, but the men would not win medals in diving or gymnastics.

Reply:WHEN BY DAUGHTER WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND A TRACK RUNNER, THE BOYS PRACTICED ON A VERY NICE COLLEGE COURSE. BUT THE GIRLS PRACTICED ON A DIRTY ROCKY FIELD AT THE SCHOOL. WE TOOK UP THE FIGHT AND WENT AFTER THE SCHOOL DISTRICT AND TITLE NINE... WE WON ! MY DAUGHTER HAS RACE WHERE HER RECORD HAS NOT BEEN BROKEN. NO TO SEXUALLY INTEGRATION AT THE OLYMPICS.
