The two events are: the score is seven to six and the team that has seven points has the ball in a football game with 7 seconds left. The quaterback runs left and the linebacker comes and strips the ball and takes it for a touchdown with no time left. In a basketball game, the score is tied 40-40. One of the teams has the ball, shoots it, and it misses. The other team rebounds, and with 5 seconds left calls a timeout. The ball is thrown up court, passed to a guy with a outside shot just in front of the 3 point line, and the guy shoots the ball. the shot is made just as time expired. I'm 13, and these two events were both made by me, the football one when I was 10, and the basketball one when I was 12. Rate both events.
Can you rate these two events?
The football one is would be pretty crazy to see. Especially because the opposing coach probably lost his job. If there is 7 seconds left in a game and you run a sweep with the quarterback, you deserve to lose. Nice play though, I'll give you that.
Reply:Although the football play you described would be definitely a play of the year contender, the possibility of it ever happening are slim to none. Not in today's football. Old school football where they ran plays til the clock expired.. yes. It may have happened.
In basketball, the play you described will always make the ESPN highlight reels every time. That is the ultimate finish of any basketball game.. whether it is High School,, College,, or NBA.
I see you pay a lot of attention to situations little friend.
Reply:are you going to be a coach in the future?
Reply:Wow, well, football is my first love, so I'm gonna say:
Your football play is definitely number one... with the game on the line you didn't lose focus... you went out and stripped dude and housed it... I bet you had a heroes welcome when you got home... and well deserved...
