The louisiana purchase almost doubled the size of the US giving us more access to raw materials and expansion.





The bombing of Pearl Harbor allowed us to get involved in WWII





The Monroe Doctrine states that no other country can intervene in wars and domestic affairs in the Americas except the US giving us hegemony over Latin America.





Mexican-American war we seized Territory from Mexico Like Texas, California, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado.
