When analying historical events, especially why they occur one must be familar with:?

a.how to analyze conflicting resouces


b.be familiar with chronology and sequencing of events, as well as periodization


c.be familiar with the concept of majority rules v. minority rights


d.be able to analyze other groups which may intercede with the event.

When analying historical events, especially why they occur one must be familar with:?
It's B. You have to KNOW the causes leading to the event, particularly the "minutia".


I'll give you an example: WW1 was sparked by the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand..you have to find out why? this was the igniting point? The Balkan Peninsula was very fragile, period, but why? and so forth, etc.
